Celebration Cake Ordering Process & Enquiries

All my cakes are made fresh to order with the flavour and design chosen completely by the customer. I want this process to be as stress free as possible so I have created a guide and can be on hand throughout.

If you'd like to simply send me a message to enquire submit a form at the bottom of this page.

Familiarise yourself with the flavour and decoration options and consider your cake servings before enquiring.

Below is the process we will go through to create your perfect cake and complete your order:

  1. Check Availability

To ensure the quality of my cakes I limit the number of orders for a single date. Therefore, I advise, before you start planning your cake, enquire about a date using the form at the bottom of the page.

If you are looking for a last-minute booking it is always worth checking as I may have a cancellation or just able to fit you in.

Once your date has been confirmed, together, we will design your cake and finalise all the details for your order so there is no stress on the weeks building up to or on the day of your event.

2.    Design Your Cake

Once availability has been confirmed I am happy to discuss your order via email or over the phone. From the information on the form I will be able to make some suggestions for your cake.

You may have detailed your whole cake on the form and all we need to do is confirm the plan and finalise the order. Or, you may need some guidance to designing and building your cake which I am here for every step of the way.

For some simple steps to designing your cake head to my design guide. My popular sponge and icing combinations and decoration options are detailed on my flavours and decoration page and guidance on portioning and serving cost can be found on my price and portioning page.

3.    Get A Quote

From our discussion I will be able to give a good estimation of cost, which I will check with you before writing up the formal contract.

4.   Order Agreement

Once the estimated cost is agreed I will write up the formal contract which will include all the details of your order from name and date to cost breakdown to specific decoration on your cake.

This contract is what I will work off when creating your order so these details need to be checked and confirmed. Any changes to your order will be updated on the contract and sent through again so we both always have the updated information.

At this stage I will also send over my Terms & Conditions but I can send these at any time during the ordering process.

5.   Pay The Deposit

Once the contract is agreed I will send an invoice which clearly details the date the deposit and outstanding payment are due.

For orders over £100 a 50% deposit is required to secure the date of your event.

The outstanding payment is due no later than 7 days prior to the date of delivery.
